The first thing that drew me to the show was the amazing jazz music in the background of the trailer. I’m a sucker for good jazz because that’s the main reason I like Cowboy Bebop (although I like it for the other obvious reasons.) Then I realized that the action going on in the trailer was beyond amazing. That’s what drew me to this series and the first episode is a good start.

The episode starts with two news writers (at least I think) talking about an accident and who should be the main character. It then focuses on a few scenes involving mob members and people who appear to be immortal.

The story seems to converge around a train and I’m sure that all the scenes are entirely out of order so it’s hard to place what’s happening. It seems to revolve around strange evens on a train called the Flying Pussyfoot. The scenes have to be out of order because there are a lot of scenes revolving around a robber couple and they act very differently and are dressed differently in each scene.

This is an interesting series and I can’t wait to see more of it.

So I finally decided to continue watching Shakugan no Shana this week from around episode 13 and I’m glad I did. This is an amazing series.

From the start you can tell the show is different from the first few lines where the main character, Yuji Sakai, tells us he’s dead. Not only is he dead but he’s been dead for a long time. You see Yuji is a Torch. Torchs are the remnants of people who’s existences have been eaten be the Tomogara. Yuji discovers this when he’s attacked by one of the Tomogara’s Rinne and a girl, the Flame-Haired Red-Hot-Eyed Flame Haze, in a black coat with a flaming sword saves him and tells him the truth, he’s dead. The series continues with various Tomogara attacking the city and Yuji discovering more about himself as a Torch. The series mainly focuses on the love between Shana, Yuji’s name for the Flame Haze, and Yuji. Shana slowly discovers her love for him and in the end after saving him and fulfilling her love for him she risks her life to save the city. The story is great and is hard for me to summarize while conveying it’s plot and overlaying ideas but it’s a great show and I think anyone who enjoys a good story will love this. I give it my highest praise.

Well I just saw the end of this show and I love it!

The series ends on a sad note with Mikan leaving for, OREGON?! Who knows why Oregon of all places but it’s still very sad. Along with the Stargate ending I feel that this was a very good end too. After all, we knew the end even before we saw it! Who would of known that the OP was the ending of the series? Although that brings me to one problem, why do they all look like they’re 12?! Takako and Mei are the only two that sort of look like they’re 20 by the end. Well now that that’s out of my system all I have left to say is, WATCH THIS! Don’t let the chibi decieve you. Even if this is a fun happy chibi show it’s still great. It had a very genuine ending that got me a little emotional, and if a show can do that then it succeeds! I hope everyone else enjoyed this show as much as I did. So on that note:

MASSUGU GO!!!

I just saw the Space channel premier of the series finale and I have only one real comment: amazing.

I loved this episode. I was waiting very eagerly for the end and I thought it came and then I realized I still had 40 minutes left! But they sure-as-hell didn’t plod by. Not one bit. It seemed too but in the end it gave us our last chance to see the characters evolve fully and make me really care for what happened to them and how they almost all died. Unlike in almost all book and other forms of serialized storytelling, I’m satisfied by the ending. Most of the time I sit and wonder what will happen next because all the ending did was leave a lot more questions of how things turn out. Even though this is the same it feels like it isn’t. If I found out that “The Ark of Truth” or “Continuum” were canceled I would be pissed. Of course I would, any fan would be. But if they were canceled I would feel that this last episode was enough. And that’s how an ending should be.

Hey everyone today I’m gonna review Fate/stay night’s dub volume 1!

I love the voices for this dub. The lip-syncing is perfect too. I really only have one quip about the voices; Sakura and Ilya. They aren’t horrible and the voices do suit the roles very well, but, they can get irritating. Although when Ilya is serious and evil sounding she sounds perfect. It’s really just the same problem I had with Negi’s voice in the Negima! dub. It’s perfect for the role but really irritating!

Well for the dub there’s not really much else to say except that they don’t screw up any terms in the show like the Naruto did in the beginning. (BELIEVE IT!!!!!!!!!)

This is a definite buy for Fate/stay night fans.

In this show we find a young girl named Mika Inamori walking to school late for a swimming competition when suddenly a girl jumps off the low overhead bridge right in-front of her. This girl’s name is Manami Amamiya.

She quickly takes out her hover scooter and scoots off towards school (ignoring the local scenery as they go right through it!) They get to the swimming competition with a splash. You learn two things then: Manami, who prefers to be called Manabi, is a transfer student and that the school enthusiasm is at an all-time low. You see the year is 2035 where most schools worldwide are closing down due to a low-birth rate. The next day during a morning assembly Mika, as the sole member of the student council, requests that any and all willing students join the student council. Manabi, late again rocketing in on her scooter, immediately demands the position of president. The principal says that she can’t but Shimojima, the teacher of class 2-A, Mika and Manabi’s class, says that Mika said that anyone apply. So Mika calls for a vote of claps. With less than amazing results Manabi goes up on stage and wonderfully recites their school song which she first heard the day before. Everyone is enchanted. She is clapped for and thus immediately made student council president!

The preview made no sense so I guess we’ll see what happens next time!
